Big Pine Hotels / Motels:

My beautiful manufactured home is not just a vacation home, it is a home-away-from-home. It is situated on a canal in a quiet residential area. It is totally fenced in and has all the ambiance and amenities of a true island home.

One bedroom has two twin beds put together to make a king, the other bedroom has a full-size bed, and the living room has a queen-size convertible couch. Besides all of that, it has six futons to sleep on any place you choose to put them. All linens are provided. The kitchen has every appliance. There are two TVs, VCR with videos, DVD, computer, PlayStation with plenty of games.

There is an $100 cleaning fee, however, if you leave the place the way you found it the cleaning fee is waived. If you bring a pet, there is a $90 fee for an exterminator.

Relax under the covered private patio surrounded by the tropical plantings. There are three types of barbecue grills: a gas barbecue grill, a charcoal grill, and a smoker.

Bring your own boat, or rent the craft of your choice from numerous area vendors, some of whom will deliver right to your back door. This is outdoor living at its BEST!

Big Pine Key, mile marker 31, is an unique island because of its large size and its pine trees. We have a supermarket, a drug store, post office, and restaurants. Sorry, no fast food places. This is a laid-back tropical island.

It is home for the famous Key Deer who are protected and can be seen roaming freely all over the island. Big Pine is the National Key Deer Refuge for the endangered Key Deer and nightly sightings of these tiny, gentle creatures are common. Big Pine is also the home of the Great White Heron and while you clean your fish or cook your catch they will gladly keep you company.

Deep-sea, reef, or flats fishing are some of your many choices. Divers and snorkelers will love Looe Key Reef and swimming at Bahia Honda State Park (voted America's Best Beach, 1992) nearby at mile marker 36.

Exciting Key West is only 30 minutes away were tourist shops, four-star restaurants, street entertainers, and famous pubs are plentiful. Also enjoy the Sunset Celebration at Mallory Square or watch a Keys sunset from a charter sailing boat. There is also a famous exclusive island called Little Palm Island that can be reached only by boat shuttle, where Sunday brunch is served.

The Keys are known around the world for their beauty and the variety of wildlife that can be found in the water, land, and sky. In addition to its wonderful weather, the Keys offer a variety of spectacular attractions. Other popular activities include dolphin encounters and eco-tours which take you to the heart of the National Wildlife Refuge. Between fishing and diving trips treat yourself to a game of golf at a lovely course only 30 minutes away.

If you have any questions, please feel free to call me. I hope to have the pleasure of welcoming you soon!
